General Terms and Conditions
Your membership with AllAboutRoommates.com entitles you to six (6) months
of service from the date of registration. This contract is for your exclusive
use only. Failure to comply will result in immediate membership termination.
The intentional purpose of this web site is helping you find a roommate,
however other services including, but not limited to, Apartments, Employment,
Moving Resources, Insurance, Background Screening are also offered for you
convenience.
AllAboutRoommates.com does not and will not endorse any clients who list
with us, we simply verify that the information listed by the listee meets
our registration requirements. We do not make any representations as to individual
character, credit worthiness, rental history or ability to pay their rent.
It is each member's responsibility to determine the character and acceptability
of any prospective roommate. AllAboutRoommates.com is not and will not be
responsible for error or omissions that may occur, consequential or other
wise. AllAboutRoommates.com CANNOT be held responsible for any events that
transpire through use of our service.
Unauthorized distribution of this contract or any portion of it may result
in legal action.
Limited Liability
AllAboutRoommates.com. shall not be liable under any circumstance, including,
but not limited to, any special or consequential damages that result from
the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in this site, even if AllAboutRoommates.com
or a Rent and Sell, Inc. authorized representative has been advised of the
possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or
exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall The Company's
total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether
in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or otherwise)
exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing this site. Applicable
law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply
to you. In no event shall The Company's total liability to you for all damages,
losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not
limited to, negligence) or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any,
for accessing this site
Material Use Restricitions
No material from AllAboutRoommates.com, any subdirectory on AllAboutRoommates.com
or any Web site owned, operated, licensed or controlled by same, or any of
its related, affiliated or subsidiary companies (collectively, "Rent and Sell,
Inc."), may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted,
or distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of Rent and
Sell, Inc.
Terms and Conditons
AllAboutRoommates.com, a service of Rent and Sell, Inc., reserves the right
to promote and market our service to the best way we see fit, without compromise
to the integrity of our Company. Changes to promotional partnerships may or
may not be announced.
AllAboutRoommates.com will occasionally send you information about promotions
and specials we feel maybe of interest to you in accordance to our privacy
policy. If any provision of this contract shall be unlawful, void, or for
any reason unenforceable in accordance with state law, then that provision
shall be dissolved from this contract and shall not affect the validity and
enforceability of any remaining provisions.
AllAboutRoommates.com disclaims any warranty of any kind, whether express
or implied, as to any matter whatsoever relating to this service, including
without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for
a particular purpose, and non-infringement. No judgment or warranty is made
with respect to the accuracy, timeliness, or suitability of the content of
other services or sites to which these screens link, and AllAboutRoommates.com
takes no responsibility. A link to a service or site outside of the AllAboutRoommates.com
web site is not an endorsement of the service or site, its content or its
sponsoring organization.
Termination
This contract will terminate immediately without notice from AllAboutRoommates.com
if in AllAboutRoommates.com's sole discretion you fail to comply with any
term or provision of this contract. Should you be terminated for failure to
comply with the terms and provisions of this contract, you must destroy all
materials obtained from this site and any and all other AllAboutRoommates.com
site(s) and all copies thereof, whether made under the terms of this contract
or otherwise. AllAboutRoommates.com reserves the right to refuse to list any
member for any reason, or to edit content, should we feel it is inappropriate
for our roommate matching service purposes. We will do so especially if any
inconsistencies, untruths or any attempt to harass or defraud any of our members,
potential members or any subsidiary of The Company are found. Any client who
is de-activated for such reason will NOT be entitled to a service fee refund
of any kind. Furthermore, should infringement and criminal activity violate
the integrity of our service or business, we will press charges. Such infringements
include, but are not limited to, the illegal use of the information we provide
or the distribution of the list for any purpose other than for the individual
use of finding a roommate.
Payment Conditions
AllAboutRoommates.com accepts Visa or Mastercard payments for any fees incurred
by our customers. AllAboutRoommates.com uses Authorize Net to authorize the
credit card transaction. All transactions are performed on Authorize Net's
secure site. For your protection, AllAboutRoommates.com DOES NOT store/maintain
any credit card information. If your credit card has been successfully authorized,
Authorize Net will send you an e-mail regarding the transaction. Please keep
this e-mail as a form of receipt/payment.
